Day of the Dead 2020 – Lena Franklin

To honor {LIFE} completely, we need to transform our relationship with {DEATH}. Last night, my dear @energymedicineman, and I organized a Ceremonial Soiree of the Day of the Dead under the Full Blue Moon in our oasis.

We bow to all of you, QUEENS + KINGS who have presented you in the best way! An important loving food for our soul tribe.

You know, the difference between Halloween + Day of the Dead is that All Hallow’s Eve is meant to be scary + spooky, while DOTD aims to transmute fear into our relationship with death and perceived “darkness.” Fulfilling our full divine potential means leaning on those parts that need to die in order for our essence to live ↠ circumstances, jobs, triggers, relationships, and so on.

You see, your ancestors are lined up to support you while YOU become the one who recognizes, feels and cares for the suffering they have suffered for so many generations.

Yasss, we did it last night, lovely beings.

And what they have shown me is that this path of TRUTH + CONSCIOUSNESS must not be heavy …

We can gather in community in the service of death.❤️

We can cheer until death.🥂

We can dance for death.💃🏻

We can celebrate death. ”

And in doing so, we allow ourselves to die enough so that we can truly LIVE.

No, it’s not a pretty, superficial post … and it can trigger some … but it’s real. And I’m HERE FOR THAT. 🔥🤘🏽❤️

AHO, loves !!!!

Special thanks to @travelteayogi + @meghan_hartjewelry for creating the holiest altar and @amaryllis_salon, @natbrownbeauty + @jewelmua for bringing this Queen of Spirits to life 👑.

… And to Momma Minh Thu, who actually went from her body to DOTD … my teacher and my mother, thank you for teaching me what is really real ~ the invisible. ⁇
